So the Journey Begins

This is the moment; a defining moment in your life; no scratch that; the defining moment of your life. The moment you realize, as a man, that you are all on your own. No matter how many people love you or are in your circle you have no one to help you. The people in your life may support you but no one is coming to help you or to save you. They can try but they honestly are fighting a never ending and losing battle. The truth of the matter is this: no one can save you from your deep dark secrets, your insecurities or your flaws.  Those demons that have scarred up the inner walls of your mind may be gone but the damage is done.

Can the damage ever be undone? I don't know but I think the better question is does it need to be undone? In my personal opinion, it does not but you have to learn how to not let it run your inner monologue, thoughts or emotions. You have to learn how to use it to your advantage whenever you can. Will you always be able to? Of course, not and you will never be perfect. The only thing you can do is recognize when you are allowing yourself to be controlled by the uncontrollable and change your thought pattern.

I don't know where this blog or website will take me or anyone that cares to come along for the ride? All i know is that we all need to make a choice at some point in our lives to get on track and follow the path that will ultimately get us the happiness we seek. The first thing, in my opinion, is you have to make a decision on your own or allow a defining moment to change your course in life. Without getting into it right at this time; my defining moment was December 2, 2015. Even then, it took me almost 3 years to actually allow myself to truly accept it and follow a new path and begin this new journey.
